1960’s Red feather inspired gown

Feathers instantly class up an outfit and it sure did this one. A simple red dress combined with black feathers make it perfect for a red carpet gown.

Slip, zip and go

Sounds like the perfect dream. Right ladies? Oh let’s not forget also look amazing in it. This particular fabric inspired the design of the dress. It bright yellow vibrant color can light up a dull room. The overlapping, one sleeve tie shoulder dress is beyond simply breathtaking. One can easily have a head tie to go with it to bring it back home by making it totally African or one can pare it with heels to a family function and have you looking extremely elegant or even with a pair of sandles and a sun hat and take it to the beach.

Pure bliss- Gown with a touch of Kitenge

This ruracio gown was inspired for a modern lady who likes a bit of attention but not too much. A lady who feels sexy in her skin but does not do much of color hence the dress being black. This Chromaphobic lady spills all colors across all the details of the dress as she is indecisive on what colors would work best. Creating pure bliss.

Smoking up the pandemic

Comfort has never been on as much demand as now. Everyone desires to look amazing effortless. Smoked dresses often know as Ruched dress became a dream for Ananki. They are so easy to slip on, the elasticity of them give extreme comfort and very easy to dress up.

They Say: When unsure wear RED!!!

Shuka Maasai-Kimono

Red always makes one look bold but red head too toe can be a little too much. So we finish of this look by throwing on a Shuka Maasai-Kimono that has a beautiful infusion of Red and Orange. Who even knew this could be a good combo. As a matter of fact a good one? and clearly Santa was not late to the party 😉

Our Branded piece

What is the occasion you ask

This piece is beyond beautify to me firstly, because it is purely an African Print. That brings it home for me.

Secondly, it is not your usual everyday African attires.

Ruffles are very in this season so incorporating ruffles in this outfit immediately make this outfit very timely.

Then the sheer around the arms and at the bottom of the pants just finish off the look so effortlessly.

Dinner, Red Carpet event, wedding

You have to make a proper appearance? Say no more. A gown is the best way to do this. Lets also not talk about an ordinary gown but one that is a top paired with a skirt. Now that is different.

Different is good.

I kept this gown very simple so I did go out with the colour by making it in a red. I mean what better way to do it than with a colour that stands out?

How about Purple? YAY OR NAY

My honest opinion, this is not for every one. Or is it? With purple the best thing to do is to be mindful of the shades of purple.

Chose a shade that goes well with your tone. Better yet, don’t hold back ask for your designers opinion. After all, all they want is the best for you.

What of a black suit?

A black suit is a staple. It is a must have in every mans wardrobe. Just the pants could be paired with a pull neck and a trench coat as an overlay and bam! It’s a whole different look.

Many other looks would go with either the coat or the pants.
